The actual business model
Sites advertising leaked content are not archives. They are advertising properties, and the content is the bait. The economics only work if you never find what you came for, because a visitor who leaves satisfied does not click through four more pages of advertising.
- A page ranks or is advertised for "creator name + leak". It shows thumbnails, a file count and a size — all of it fabricated.
- Clicking anything triggers a redirect chain through ad networks. Each hop pays the operator a fraction of a cent.
- A gate appears: a survey, a "human verification" step, an app install, or an account registration. This is the monetisation point.
